Psychiatry and medication management

Thoughtful evaluations and ongoing prescribing from board certified providers.

Psychiatric provider consulting with a patient

Your first psychiatric visit is a full evaluation, usually about fifty minutes, covering your history, current symptoms, and goals for treatment. If medication makes sense, we start conservatively and adjust based on how you're actually doing, not a fixed schedule. Follow up visits are shorter, typically twenty to thirty minutes, and can happen in person or by telehealth throughout Massachusetts.

What to Expect

How medication management works here

1

Initial evaluation

A full look at your history, symptoms, and prior treatment, so recommendations are based on the whole picture.

2

A collaborative plan

We explain the reasoning behind any medication recommendation, including alternatives, so the decision is genuinely yours.

3

Regular follow up

Dosing and medication choice are adjusted based on real feedback from you, not a fixed schedule regardless of how you're doing.

4

Coordination with therapy

If you also see a therapist here or elsewhere, we coordinate care with your consent so nothing gets duplicated or missed.
