New patients

Everything you need to know before your first visit.

Welcoming greeting at the office

What to bring

Please bring a photo ID, your insurance card, and a list of any current medications, including dosages. If you have seen a previous therapist or psychiatric provider, records or a brief summary can be helpful but are not required.

What your first visit looks like

Your first appointment is a full intake, typically fifty minutes, focused on understanding your history and goals rather than jumping straight to treatment. There is no obligation to share more than you're comfortable with at your own pace.
